They are in need of an organized person who first enjoys being a part of their children’s care and development, and also has the energy to keep up with their playful toddler as well as play and cuddle with their infant. In the early evening, engaging in fun toddler activities while helping their youngest to reach his milestones, preparing children’s meals, and then later helping with nighttime bath routine, reading, playing music, and getting them settled into bed. For now, most evenings, at least one of the parents will be home. When providing care over the weekend, the family assistant may be asked to join the family on outdoor trips to the park. Additional responsibilities will include children’s laundry, tidying the play area, kitchen/unloading the dishwasher, putting groceries away, making a grocery list, helping with light household duties aimed at keeping the home tidy and organized, and possibly a quick errand here and there.
