A vibrant New Orleans family with awesome twin 9-year-old boys (think sports fanatics with boundless energy!) is seeking a superstar family assistant to join their team! Care is needed 25 hours per week, with the hours being typically between 2:30pm-9:00pm. The days will vary from Monday-Sunday, however, the family will provide the schedule a week in advance. Mom and Dad travel overnight for work about 3x a month. They hope that their awesome family assistant can assist on these occasions. (Additional compensation would be provided.) In the summer, the schedule will be similar to the school year as the boys will attend camps. However, there may be a week or two where the family would need some day time hours when the boys are not attending camp. These details will be discussed in advance. Family hopes to find the boys a partner-in-crime for park adventures, sports practices, and epic backyard battles! Their boys are very active and need someone they can bond with who is just as adventurous as they are. A family assistant who encourages their boys to conquer their schoolwork and in turn makes homework time into a high-five-worthy victory lap! Family assistant tasks would include carpools/driving to activities, running occasional errands, grocery shopping, helping the boys with homework, preparing children’s meals, and keeping areas of the home used by the family assistant/children neat and tidy. A safe driver with their own car is required for the position. Both parents work from home. Family also has two older daughters (aged 15 & 17). Both are self-sufficient and shouldn’t require much except an occasional pick up from school/activity. Family prioritizes health and safety, therefore prefers all care professionals to be nonsmokers.

Care is needed primarily for their 2-year-old son, though occasionally their 13-year-old will want to join in the fun with his brother! Family also has a 17-year-old present in the home, though no care is needed for him. Family is guaranteeing 30 hours a week, though on weeks when the family assistant is focusing on household tasks, the hours will typically be less than 30. The children split their time between their mother’s homes and their father’s home. Childcare is needed 2 weeks a month, with the other 2 weeks being designated for household tasks. On the weeks when childcare is needed, the schedule will be Thursday-Sunday from 7am-4pm. On the weeks where household tasks are handled, the days/hours are flexible and would not require weekends. The family’s schedule is known a year in advance and will be provided to the family assistant. The family is looking for an experienced family assistant who is adaptable, independent, and understands boundaries as well as respects them. Family would love to hire someone open to assisting with family laundry & ironing, pet care/sitting, and feeding; though these are not a must have. A busy family in Fulton is looking for a detail oriented and reliable family assistant to provide care for their three children (daughter age 9 and two sons ages 10 & 12). Care is needed Monday-Friday from 2pm-9pm, however, the family is open to someone who starts earlier if they feel they need additional time to complete daily tasks. Occasionally, the end time may be before 9pm if Mom finishes earlier that day. During the summer months, the schedule will be similar, however, the family assistant’s day will likely end around 6pm. The family is looking for a caring and organized family assistant who can manage the children’s varying sport schedules while keeping the house in order and the children happy & healthy. The children are involved in football, basketball, dance, and soccer. The family assistant should also be comfortable with Mom’s family stopping by, as they are all very close and spend most of their free time together. The family would love to find a family assistant who would be interested in coming along on their family vacations to help, however, this is not a requirement. A driver with a car is required for the position, however, the family does have a car available for on-the-job tasks.
