#212548 - Accepting Referrals
Requires a one-year minimum commitment
A growing family in Towson that is expecting their second child in July, is looking for a loving outdoorsy nanny to care for their two children. When the nanny begins, care will be for their 2.5 year old daughter, but once the baby is born care will be for both children. Care is needed Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm. The family just bought a home in Towson and are closing on their new home on May 14th! Currently the family is living in Gibson Island (45mins from Towson) at the mother’s parent’s home. They would love to have their nanny start before they move, so their daughter can bond with the nanny before adding another change to her everyday. If the nanny starts earlier, care would take place at the grandparent’s home, the hours would be adjusted given the added commute. In the summer the family loves to spend their time in Gibson Island and hopes to find a nanny that would be open to joining them there. Tasks for the nanny would include driving to activities, children’s meals & laundry, and keeping the areas of the home used by the nanny/children neat & tidy. Family would love a nanny that is open to helping with family related tasks, but this is not a requirement. When the nanny is completing tasks around the home, they would love it if the nanny would have their toddler assist with these activities to teach her independence. The parents try to follow the Montessori philosophy of creating healthy independence in children and hope to find a nanny that will also follow this philosophy. The family's new home has a pool, they would love to find a nanny that will be comfortable getting into the pool with their children. Family has two labs (dogs), Piper and Bella. They are dearly loved by the family’s daughter and extremely gentle with her. They will spend most of their time outdoors as they are trained duck hunting dogs. Cameras will be located in the daughter’s room and the nursery. Mom is currently working from home (office will be located in the basement) but plans to stay out of the way while nanny is there.
