A busy family (new to Baltimore!) is looking for a part-time whiz to make their Stevenson home a haven for exploration and laughter! The family has two awesome children, a girl aged 6 and a boy aged 8. Care is needed Monday-Friday 2pm-6:30pm with the possibility to add additional hours weekly! Additional hours can be made by working a little later 1x a week, providing care on school closures/sick days, and/or assisting on the weekend for the occasional date night. (Additional hours are not a requirement, however, would be a great bonus!) Family loves to travel and occasionally they would love to have their family assistant accompany them on a trip. Proper notice would be provided for these trips and family would cover the costs of travel as well as accommodations. (Traveling with the family would not be required.) Family is hoping to find a care professional who will engage their children in activities that spark their imagination and encourage the children’s hobbies! Someone who will unleash their inner child and plan adventures inside as well as outside the family’s home. A family assistant who can establish boundaries and follow a schedule, however, also knows how to have some fun! Tasks for the family assistant would include driving to activities (sports practices, music lessons, playdates, etc.), occasionally grocery shopping, children’s meals & laundry, assistance 1-2 days a week with family meals, and keeping areas of the home used by the family assistant/children tidy. Family meals could be as simple as prepping simple ingredients or following an easy recipe that the family has provided, all which they can easily heat up when needed. They do not expect to hire a chef and are happy to discuss expectations during interviews! A driver with their own car is required for the position. Both parents occasionally work from home, one full-time & one part-time. Family prioritizes health and safety, therefore prefers all care professionals to be nonsmokers. A vibrant New Orleans family with awesome twin 9-year-old boys (think sports fanatics with boundless energy!) is seeking a superstar family assistant to join their team! Care is needed 25 hours per week, with the hours being typically between 2:30pm-9:00pm. The days will vary from Monday-Sunday, however, the family will provide the schedule a week in advance. Mom and Dad travel overnight for work about 3x a month. They hope that their awesome family assistant can assist on these occasions. (Additional compensation would be provided.) In the summer, the schedule will be similar to the school year as the boys will attend camps. However, there may be a week or two where the family would need some day time hours when the boys are not attending camp. These details will be discussed in advance. Family hopes to find the boys a partner-in-crime for park adventures, sports practices, and epic backyard battles! Their boys are very active and need someone they can bond with who is just as adventurous as they are. A family assistant who encourages their boys to conquer their schoolwork and in turn makes homework time into a high-five-worthy victory lap! Family assistant tasks would include carpools/driving to activities, running occasional errands, grocery shopping, helping the boys with homework, preparing children’s meals, and keeping areas of the home used by the family assistant/children neat and tidy. A safe driver with their own car is required for the position. Both parents work from home. Family also has two older daughters (aged 15 & 17). Both are self-sufficient and shouldn’t require much except an occasional pick up from school/activity. Family prioritizes health and safety, therefore prefers all care professionals to be nonsmokers.
