The Nanny Network is seeking a dedicated and reliable Nanny Specialist to join our growing team! In this dynamic and rewarding role, you'll play a vital part in providing same-day support to families with urgent childcare needs, working with various ages of children in your community ranging from newborn to school age. Flexibility is key, as you will be assigned to different care locations by our team based on immediate needs. Our Nanny Specialists have guaranteed hours, and have their weeks planned for them doing what they love best. Key Responsibilities: • Respond promptly to same-day care requests, providing reliable and nurturing childcare. • Travel to and provide care at various client locations within your assigned service area, as directed by our team. • Adapt quickly to new environments and routines, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for children and families. • Provide engaging and age-appropriate activities for children of varying ages. • Maintain open and clear communication with families and our team. • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines. What We Offer:Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week with the likelihood for additional hours if available • Competitive hourly rate with quarterly pay increases: $25.00 per hour pre-tax • Flexible scheduling: Monday-Friday, 7am-6pm is required (note: the specific schedule may vary day-to-day with some opportunities to start later or finish earlier). • Stable work environment: Even if there are slow weeks (although these are rare!) and we don’t need you to work, you'll receive guaranteed pay for 30 hours. • Supportive team: You'll be part of a fun(!), collaborative and supportive team at The Nanny Network, that is on a mission to make the world a better place through high-quality in-home child care. Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years professional childcare experience (babysitting/nannying, daycare or teaching) • At least 2 professional child care related references • Strong desire to help children and families succeed • Experience caring for infants, toddlers and school age children. • Up to date CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification (we can help cover this cost!) • Ability to commute within a radius of 45 miles on any given day of the week Monday-Friday (with reimbursement for gas in excess of 40 miles round trip!) • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to family homes (including having Lyft and Uber accounts for emergencies) • Ability to work effectively in a home environment • Ability to work with pets in home • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (to communicate with us and the parents) • Ability to provide required and up to date vaccination documents.

Back Up Care - Accepting Referrals
As a Back-Up Care Nanny: You'll provide in-home childcare on a part-time or temporary basis, creating a safe and engaging environment for children of all ages, from newborns to school-age. Enjoy the flexibility of making your own schedule and working when you want to, typically during daytime hours Monday through Friday, with shifts lasting a minimum of 4 hours. For both Back-Up Care roles, we require: • A minimum of two years of recent professional childcare experience (examples include nannying, babysitting, behavioral therapy, daycare, teaching, and newborn care). • At least two professional references (not including family members or friends) that we can contact to verify your experience. • A genuine love for children and an enthusiastic, positive attitude. • Excellent communication and punctuality. • Reliable transportation to and from families' homes (non-drivers are welcome to apply, but some locations may not be accessible via public transportation). You should be open to travel plus or minus 30 miles each way for jobs. • CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to complete/renew certification before accepting work. • Must be over the age of 18 and legally able to work in the United States. • Willingness to work in homes with pets (pet care is not a requirement). • A preference among many families for non-smokers. • A teamwork spirit and the ability to adapt to different family dynamics.
