As a Back-Up Care Nanny: You'll provide in-home childcare on a part-time or temporary basis, creating a safe and engaging environment for children of all ages, from newborns to school-age. Long-term Temporary Position: August 3, 2026 – April 30, 2027 Potential for extension if all parties are interested. A warm and welcoming family in Pasadena, MD is searching for a nurturing, experienced nanny to care for their sweet baby girl beginning when she is around 3 months old. Both parents work from home in dedicated office spaces and are looking for someone who can provide loving, attentive care during the workday so they can focus on work while knowing their daughter is in wonderful hands. The family is looking for care Monday through Friday during daytime work hours. While they anticipate a schedule around 9am - 2pm, they are flexible and can adjust anywhere between approximately 8am - 3pm for the right person. This position is expected to continue through the end of April or early May 2027, though the family may be open to extending the position if it is a wonderful match. Your days will be filled with all the joys of infant care, including bottle feedings, diaper changes, soothing, burping, tummy time, cuddles, and encouraging exciting early developmental milestones. As the family transitions to bottle feeding, you'll also help prepare and wash bottles, assist with the baby's laundry, tidy the nursery, support the introduction of solid foods as she grows, and keep the areas of the home used by you and the child neat and organized. This family is hoping to find someone who truly enjoys caring for infants and understands the unique needs of the first year of life. Experience caring for babies with reflux or digestive sensitivities is highly preferred, though not required. A driver with reliable transportation is required; however, driving is not permitted for this position.
