Outdoor Loving Nanny Needed For Three Children Full-Time Nanny
2 Children
ASAP–Ongoing
Towson MD
$20–22/hour
Job #212548 in Towson MD - Accepting Referrals
Requires a one-year minimum commitment
An outdoor loving family in Towson is looking for an enthusiastic, fun-loving nanny! Someone who will be a self-starter and isn’t afraid to be a little silly! Overall, the family is looking for a nanny that will become like family and establish a wonderful bond with their three children. The family has two daughters, 1.5 & 4, and is expecting their third child in June (gender is a surprise). Care is needed Monday through Friday, from 8:30am-5:00pm. Care will primarily be for their newborn, as their 1.5-year-old attends school part time while their oldest is in school full-time. During the summer and when school is occasionally closed, the nanny will have all three children to care for, however, the older two children will attend camps so this will be a rare occurrence. This family believes in the Montessori philosophy of teaching children independence and responsibility. They hope to find a nanny that will incorporate this method along with the nanny’s already established skills when caring for their children. While the nanny is completing tasks around the home, they would love their nanny to involve their children in these activities to continue to instill the Montessori philosophy. Tasks for the nanny include driving to activities including occasional drop-offs/pick-ups from school, children’s meals & laundry, and keeping areas used by the nanny/children neat and tidy. Family would love a nanny who is open to helping with family related tasks and pet care, however this is not a requirement. A great and fun thing about this family is they love to spend their free time in Gibson Island, a local beach treasure! They occasionally take trips there and would love to find a nanny that may be interested in joining them too! Mom’s parents have a place there, where the nanny can take the children on nature walks, feed the local turtles, build sandcastles, fish, play on boats, go swimming, and play at local playgrounds. Family would discuss these trips in advance, and nanny is welcome to stay in the private guest house at the family’s home, should the nanny prefer to stay when visiting Gibson Island. Also, the family’s home in Towson has a pool in the backyard! They hope to find a nanny who would be comfortable taking the children swimming occasionally and will help encourage water safety. Family has two friendly well-behaved labs (dogs), Piper and Bella. They are dearly loved by the girls and are extremely gentle with both of them. The dogs will spend most of their time outdoors. Mom works from home in a designated office space, and occasionally travels. They would love a nanny that is vaccinated or open to obtaining the COVID-19 vaccine before starting. A safe driver with a car is required. Nanny is asked to follow CDC guidelines in respect to safety, to help curb the spread of COVID-19 virus.

Homeland Family In Need of Organized Family Assistant Full-Time Family Assistant
4 Children
03/27/23–Ongoing (Flexible)
Baltimore MD
$24–28/hour
Job #988930 in Baltimore MD - Accepting Referrals
Requires a one-year minimum commitment
A delightful Homeland family is in search of a responsible family assistant to help manage their home. Care is needed 40hrs a week Monday-Friday, between the hours of 10am-7pm. The family has three daughters ages 1, 3, & 5-years-old and one 7-year-old son. The two oldest attend school full-time, so care will primarily be for the younger two daughters - one of whom goes to school every day from 9am-12pm. If school is closed, the family assistant would provide care for all four children, however, if the children are sick, Non-Covid related, Mom would take care of those sick while the family assistant cares for those who are healthy and/or would focus on the household tasks for that day. In the summer, the family travels quite often, however, they will guarantee their family assistant’s 40 hours, though likely won't need the full 40. Tasks for the family assistant include healthy family meal prep, family laundry, and keeping the areas of the home used by the family assistant and the children tidy. Family meals would be healthy and easy. Overall, the family is looking for the right fit for their position and can be flexible on their requirements! They are hoping to find someone who is able to pivot from household tasks to childcare as needed. A driver is required for the position, however, the family does have a car available for on the job tasks. They would prefer a provider that is a non-smoker and is vaccinated or open to obtaining the COVID-19 vaccine before starting. Family assistant is asked to follow CDC guidelines in respect to safety, to help curb the spread of COVID-19 virus.

2 Children
ASAP–Ongoing
Baltimore MD
$18–28/hour
Job #723014 in Baltimore MD - Accepting Referrals
Requires a one-year minimum commitment
A family of four in Homeland is looking for an engaging and organized caregiver for their almost 2-year-old son and 3-month-old daughter. Care is needed Monday-Friday from 11am-5pm, except on Wednesdays when care is from 9am-2pm. During the summer, the family spends most of their time in Maine. They would love to have someone occasionally join them for a week or two, if interested. While the family is away, they are happy to cover a portion of their caregiver’s pay, to ensure their continued care for the next school year. They are hoping to find someone who will establish a lasting relationship with both their children! Their son loves the outdoors, being read to and arts & crafts projects. The family prefers not to utilize screens to entertain their children and hopes to find a caregiver who will respect this decision. Tasks for the caregiver include children’s laundry & meals and keeping areas of the home used by the children/caregiver neat & tidy. They would also love additional help with household tasks including occasional errands, grocery shopping, family meals and feeding their friendly mellow cat, Mackerel. Assistance with family meals would include prepping veggies or other ingredients. Family doesn’t expect to hire a chef and is happy to discuss their ideal meals/expectations ahead of time! A caregiver with a driver's license and reliable car is preferred for the position, however, family is open to someone without a car as they can provide one for on-the-job tasks. Mom will likely be home especially during the spring but will do her best to stay out of sight as to not bother the children and caregiver’s daily routine. The family would prefer a caregiver who is vaccinated or willing to be vaccinated against Covid-19 before starting with the family. A non-smoker is preferred for this position. Caregiver is asked to follow CDC guidelines in respect to safety, to help curb the spread of COVID-19 virus.
