While I have been at the helm since 2006, I am especially proud of the recent progress and teamwork we displayed during the pandemic. We managed to not just stay open, but instead we repeatedly increased the number of jobs available under difficult circumstances. All while keeping our caregivers and families healthy.

The need for safe, dependable child care has never been greater than it is now and our attention to detail separates us from the rest. Since 1995, we have stayed true to our mission of professionally vetting, and personally selecting, the nannies we work with and, as a result, have built an amazing team of the best child care professionals in the DMV area.

If you meet our requirements, please apply to join our team. We have worked hard to offer the most competitive salary, job variety + benefits of any child care staffing agency in the country. We also have listened carefully to caregiver feedback over the years and incorporated countless suggestions when designing our process + platform.

If you have not yet heard about Same-Day Pay, be sure to check it out, as it is one of the things we are most proud of! Launched in August 2022, Same-Day Pay allows every Nanny Network employee to access the majority their pay (IRS approved!), earned in a single day, deposited within minutes to their checking account. We recognize the importance in today's world of giving our employees the flexibility to take care of what matters most, when it's needed most.

Outdoors Loving Nanny Needed for two Boys! Part-Time Nanny
2 Children
ASAP–Ongoing
TOWSON Maryland
$20–25/hour
Job #601707 in TOWSON Maryland - Accepting Referrals
Requires a one-year minimum commitment
A family of four in Towson is looking for an energetic nanny for their two boys ages, 3 and 5. Care is needed Monday-Thursday from 11:30am-5:30pm or 6pm (family is open to either end time). On occasion, when school is closed or the children are sick, they would love it if their nanny had the flexibility to provide full day care for their boys (start time would be around 8am). During the summer, the days of care will remain the same, but the start time would increase to 8am. Summer care would be full-time with both children. The family has a pool membership and are happy to have their nanny take the boys swimming if comfortable. Their oldest son was recently diagnosed with ADHD so someone with experience with this diagnosis would be very helpful, however, this is not a requirement. Since finding out their son has ADHD, they have established strategies that have truly helped him to become successful! They would love to find a nanny that will reinforce their established strategies so that their son can have continued success. Their younger son is easy going, calm, and very sweet. Both boys love riding their bikes, scooters, and playing at local playgrounds. The right nanny for this position is someone loving, organized, and level-headed. A nanny who will establish boundaries, create structure and plan age-appropriate activities both inside/outside the home. Additional tasks include pick-ups from school (11:45am for youngest & 2:45pm for oldest), driving to occasional activities/appointments, homework help, children’s meals & laundry and keeping areas of the home used by nanny/children tidy. Family has a 9-year-old medium size Terrier Mix named Mango. He is friendly and typically keeps to himself. Only thing they ask of their nanny in relation to their dog is letting him in/out for needed bathroom breaks. Both parents typically work from home 1-2 days a week. A driver with their own personal reliable transportation is required for the position. Nanny is asked to follow CDC guidelines in respect to safety, to help curb the spread of COVID-19 virus.

A family of four located in the beautiful Stoneleigh neighborhood in Towson is looking for a nanny for their two boys, ages 5 and 1-month-old. Care is needed Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm, except for on Mondays/Thursdays when Dad must occasionally work longer hours, the schedule will then increase to 7/7:30am-5:30pm. Proper notice will be provided. Care is primarily for their youngest but occasionally the nanny may have both boys should their oldest have the day off or be ill. Dad may sometimes care for the oldest when school is closed while the nanny cares for their youngest son as usual. 2 Children
ASAP–Ongoing
Baltimore MD
$23–25/hour
Job #998104 in Baltimore MD - Accepting Referrals
Requires a one-year minimum commitment
A wonderful family of four in Ruxton is looking for an energetic family assistant to help bring fun and organization to their busy lives! They have a 7-year-old son and 3-year-old daughter. Care is needed Monday-Friday from 11am-4pm. Currently their daughter gets picked up from school at noon but starting in January her new pickup time will be 2:40pm. Their son gets out of school at 3pm. Before the pickup time changes, the family assistant will bring their daughter home, get her lunch, and put her down for a nap, once the pickup time changes the family assistant can focus on household tasks till it is time to pick up both children. Their ideal candidate may have some flexibility to provide full day care, a few weeks out of the year when mom travels or when schools are closed, however, this would be by mutual agreement and not a requirement for the position. In the summer, the hours would be guaranteed but may shift earlier or later in the day by mutual agreement. The family would also love to hire someone who is comfortable around pools and taking children swimming, though this is not a requirement. They hope to find a family assistant who will engage the children in exciting and age-appropriate activities and when they are not home will focus on simple household organization. Someone who is observant and when they see a need, they fill it! Tasks for the family assistant include carpools & driving to activities, errands, grocery shopping, homework help, family laundry & meals, and keeping areas used by the family assistant/children tidy. Family meals can be very easy and could be as simple as just prepping the ingredients. Family has a sweet and super relaxed dog named Chessie. The only pet care asked of the family assistant is to let her in and out as needed for bathroom breaks. Mom typically tries to work from home once a week in a designated office within the home. The family would prefer a candidate who is a non-smoker, is vaccinated or willing to be vaccinated against Covid-19 and the Flu before starting with the family. Family assistant is asked to follow CDC guidelines in respect to safety, to help curb the spread of COVID-19 virus. **Family is also open to hiring a family assistant looking for less than a year.

1 Child
01/02/23–Ongoing (Flexible)
Baltimore Maryland
$20–30/hour
Job #978893 in Baltimore Maryland - Accepting Referrals
Requires a one-year minimum commitment
A two Mom household is looking for an engaging and punctual family assistant for their 11-year-old son. Family has a 5 floor townhouse with a driveway for parking on the water in a quiet Fells Point neighborhood. The family assistant will likely only need to use the second floor (living room and kitchen) and 4th floor (son’s room and laundry room), but should be comfortable with stairs. Care is needed Monday-Friday from 7:30am-5:30pm, however, the family assistant will likely have some downtime in between dropping off their son at school and returning for pick-up, depending on the tasks that need completing. In the summers, the schedule will be similar to the school year as their son will attend summer camps. They would love to find a family assistant that has a little flexibility, should either mom have to work a little later than usual. Proper notice would be provided. On days when school is closed or their son has a minor non-Covid related illness, the family assistant will provide full day care for their son. They would love it if their family assistant would take their son on outings and would share their passions with him, as he loves learning new things! In the past his nannies have taken him to corn mazes, taught him how to knit, cook, and draw. Their son is a curious and fun-loving kid who loves to talk, be silly, and get creative! His current passions are fishing, playing tennis, cooking, and art projects. The family is looking for a family assistant who is a good communicator, is organized, and creative. Someone that speaks an additional language such as Spanish would be a plus, however, this is not a requirement. Overall, they want to find a family assistant who will establish a wonderful bond with their son and will be with them for years to come! Family assistant tasks include driving to activities including school/camps, occasional errands such as assisting with dropping off/picking up dry cleaning, shopping for gifts, grocery shopping, family laundry & meals, supervising handymen/women, and keeping areas of the home used by the family assistant & their son tidy. Family meals can be simple. They love pasta, meals from the crockpot and typically have a protein, veggie & starch. Family is happy to brainstorm typical ideals for family meals! Family has a cat named Jazzy, who will likely keep to herself until she gets to know the family assistant. Their son handles feeding her but they would love assistance with taking Jazzy to the vet as needed, however, this is not a requirement. Occasionally both Moms may work from home during the week. A safe driver with a reliable car is required for the position. The family would prefer a family assistant who is vaccinated or willing to be vaccinated against Covid-19 before starting. Family assistant is asked to follow CDC guidelines in respect to safety, to help curb the spread of COVID-19 virus.
