The Nanny Network temporary care unit provides last-minute care for those in need or helps you plan in advance for school breaks.

Often with minimal notice we are able to connect families with highly vetted, experienced childcare and household management professionals. Plus we handle all payroll processing for your care professional, ensuring a hassle-free experience! Our dedicated temporary care team and staffing specialists are committed to understanding each family’s unique needs.

Temporary Care encompasses all jobs which range from 4 hours to 2 months in duration. We offer the following Temporary placements:

Our Temporary Care rates are $35.25 per hour. There are additional charges for: each additional child (max 4 children), holidays and overtime (40+ hours booked within a week).

Temporary Care Process

Our temporary care process is streamlined and efficient, designed to quickly connect you with the perfect childcare professional for your immediate needs.

Here's how we make it happen:

Completion of our online application by parent
Application review with a Nanny Network Staffing Specialist to discuss any special needs or situations
Completion of Service Agreement via online client dashboard
Temporary job request made using the Book Care form found in your client dashboard
Your job is then sent to qualified professionals vetted by The Nanny Network who fit your specific needs.
Booking of a care professional, confirmed by an email with a link to their profile (including job history, education, skills, reference highlights and additional training).
Automated payment upon booking confirmation
Your assigned care professional will reach out to introduce themselves, confirm all of the job details and things to know about your home’s environment.
You now have safe and dependable coverage for your family so you can focus on what matters most and gain peace of mind!
