Salary and Compensation

Full-time and Part-time Placements

  • Nannies: Typically range between $22-30 per hour pre-tax but can go higher depending on the job description
  • Family Assistants: $28-35 per hour pre-tax
  • Nannies: Typically range between $25-$35 per hour pre-tax but can go higher depending on the job description
  • Family Assistants: Range between $30-$40 per hour pre-tax
  • Nannies: Typically range between $22-30 per hour pre-tax but can go higher depending on the job description
  • Family Assistants: $28-35 per hour pre-tax

Depending on the service type, payroll will be covered by, and you will be an employee of, the family or TNN. When employed by TNN, benefits include: paid time off, holiday pay, and paid holidays.

Short-Term Jobs

All short-term jobs are paid through the Nanny Network payroll system, and therefore, the agency will make appropriate withholdings for federal, state and other taxes, as required by law. Starting hourly rates by location are below however many nannies are able to increase their rate quickly through our Quarterly Raise Program.

  • Nanny Rate: Starting at $17.00 per hour pre-tax
  • Sidekick Rate: $18.00 per hour pre-tax
  • Family Assistant: $20.00 per hour pre-tax
  • Nanny Rate: Starting at $18.00 per hour pre-tax
  • Sidekick Rate: $18.00 per hour pre-tax
  • Family Assistant: $21.00 per hour pre-tax
  • Nanny Rate: Starting at $17.00 per hour pre-tax
  • Sidekick Rate: $18.00 per hour pre-tax
  • Family Assistant: $20.00 per hour pre-tax

At our TNN, we believe in supporting the well-being of our care professionals by offering paid time off packages. Whether you choose to relax at home, explore new destinations, or spend quality time with loved ones, our PTO policy ensures you can do so without worrying about your finances. TNN also offers paid time off to volunteer!

We launched our Same Day Pay benefit in August 2022 for our temporary care professionals and were the first nanny agency in history to do so! Since then we have seen a significant increase in the amount of jobs our short-term care providers are interested in, given the speed in which caregivers can get paid. Gone are the days of having to wait to get paid until the next payroll cycle.

Our temporary child care and household professionals have the ability to increase their hourly rate up to $1.00 every 90 days with our Quarterly Raise program! That’s potentially a $4.00 increase in one year. The raise is dependent on jobs completed, outstanding performance and engagement throughout the quarter.

We believe in empowering our nannies to grow professionally and personally. We offer a range of professional development opportunities, including sponsorships, scholarships, workshops, and more. Our goal is to support our professionals in enhancing their skills, staying updated on the latest childcare trends, and advancing their careers. Whether through online courses, in-person training sessions, or industry conferences, we are dedicated to fostering a community of well-equipped and confident childcare professionals.

We offer our team members a paid volunteer day, allowing them to dedicate up to 8 hours to causes they care about while being compensated. By supporting our employees in making a positive impact, we aim to create a ripple effect of kindness and compassion throughout our communities.
