We are recruiting for temporary backup care nannies in all service areas Monday-Sunday. Hours vary from 7am onwards for half and full day shifts. Jobs will suit both drivers and non-drivers, subject to area and client. The nanny will be caring for children ranging in age from infants to school age either throughout the day or evening. A great opportunity to work around your own schedule.

Lutherville/Timonium area. Family looking to find a reliable, experienced and organized Nanny/House Manager for their 2 school aged children. As an important part of their family team you will take responsibility for some elements of their Household Management, together with caring for the children after school. Your role will be a guaranteed 25 hours per week, typically worked Mon-Thurs. Pickup time at school, located 5 minutes from the home, is between 3.30pm and 4.30pm (subject to after school activities). Once the children are home, the Nanny would be responsible for homework supervision, serving a meal and prepping for the next school day until 6:30 pm. The additional House Management hours can be worked on a flexible schedule before around school pick up, whereby some days you start or a set schedule 1:30-6:30pm each day. The household management duties to be performed would include as-needed, grocery shopping, light laundry, meal prep and other occasional errands associated with the children. Some flexibility for school closing coverage would be preferred. Start asap, salary $16-18/hr pre tax, driver with own car required, paid holidays and vacation.

Annapolis family are seeking a full time Nanny to care for their infant, born Dec 17. The role will be from 9am – 5pm, Mon – Fri. Qualities that the family are looking to find in their Nanny are an organized and proactive approach, enthusiasm, professionalism and reliability. Your role will include child’s laundry, bottle prep, straightening areas of the home used by Nanny and baby, together with appropriate developmental activities that will engage the infant as they grow such as reading, songs and imaginary play.The successful applicant will be a driver, able to start end of Feb 18, salary $15-20/hr pre tax.

Towson. To start Feb 19th 2018, this family are looking to find a warm, nurturing and engaging Nanny with infant experience to care for their baby born Dec 17. Your role will be from Monday – Friday, during the hours of 8am – 5pm. Your duties will include setting a schedule for napping and sleeping. During awake time you will engage the baby in movement, singing, reading and general age appropriate play. As a professional Nanny you will have prior experience and knowledge of infant care and the ability to change schedules and activities in line with the infant’s development. Babies laundry, bottle and meal prep will be part of the role and will be managed entirely by the nanny. The family have a Shepard Mix and so the Nanny should be comfortable around dogs. Driver with own car is required. Start mid Feb, salary $15-17/hr, paid holidays and vacation.

Ellicott City, MD Full Time Nanny/House Manager. Are you someone who loves to be organized and organize for other people? Do you have strong attention to detail and are someone who thrives on a schedule? Do you love young children and engaging them in fun activities but encouraging them to help around the home and be part of the team! Busy professional couple are seeking their right hand person, a team player who wants to be an integral part of the children’s lives and help the family in the smooth running of the home. The successful nanny will be proactive, show initiative, reliable, timely, organized and fun and engaging with the children.
This position falls into two categories, firstly the home management to include planning, organizing and coordinating children’s schedules; managing household calendars; arranging appointments; scheduling and supervising home maintenance projects on occasion; children’s laundry; children’s bedding changes; some meal prep and grocery shopping; running family errands; sorting children clothes by season and size; being available for emergency care such as sick kids, snow days; packaging lunches for the day ahead and other household related tasks. The family have a weekly cleaner and do not require house cleaning. The family are for the most part vegetarian and enjoy a wide range of foods and encourage the children to eat a variety of dishes, especially Indian food and they a great eaters!
The childcare duties will include dropping off and collecting the children form the daycare and school, or meeting them at the bus. Taking the children to their after school activities three times a week (Taekwondo and swimming) in the local area is an on going requirement together with the supervision of homework and the planning of fun and developmentally appropriate activities form home such as flash cards, sight words or craft projects etc. The family like children to be helpful around the home as assist with tasks such as helping with setting the table for meals, clearing away their dishes and assisting with keeping the areas of the home tidy and so the Nanny should encourage this with a positive mindset and make this a fun part of the day! The family ask that the children have no TV or devices throughout the week, they are busy enough and have found that the children enjoy their after school activities homework and home based play.
Your day will start at 6.30am and finish at 9.30am upon drop off and then the afternoon hours will begin at 12.30 – 6.30pm. Household Management tasks can be done from 12.30 until pickup at 3pm each day or if someone preferred to work a few full day and carry out household tasks from 9.30-3pm when pickup begins that will also work. Total guaranteed hours 45 per week. You should be available for snow and sick days. If the Nanny has off time from 9.30-12.30 the family are comfortable wit the nanny using their home as a base for the day if required. Security cameras in the home. Driver with own car required, 4 weeks paid vacation, YMCA personal membership, 4 paid sick/snow days, $15/hr pre tax.

For the most part the Nanny will care for the youngest child aged 2 years but will have the 4 year old on occasion. The role will be 3 days per week, working Mon and Weds from 8.30-4.30pm and Thurs 8.30am until 5pm. Duties will be child related and include meals and home based activity planning such as reading, playing in the backyard, and library trips. Ideal qualities that the family are looking to find in their Nanny are safety, a kind personality, and enjoyment of playing with children. The youngest child has allergies to peanuts, nuts, and sunflower seeds and so the Nanny will feel comfortable managing these restrictions in his diet.
