We are recruiting for temporary backup care nannies in all service areas Monday-Sunday. Hours vary from 7am onwards for half and full day shifts. Jobs will suit both drivers and non-drivers, subject to area and client. The nanny will be caring for children ranging in age from infants to school age either throughout the day or evening. Whitehall (15 minutes from Jacksonville) Family looking to find a nanny to love, nurture and embrace their baby born in Jan 17. The family live in a large rural property adjacent to 3 other farms all owned and lived in by other family members. The vast acreage has horses, cows, miniature pigs and is a child’s heaven! The family home is a newly renovated farmhouse with plenty of space for children to enjoy and play. There is already a nanny who cares for their toddler, who spends most of the days out and about on the farm or participating in activities. The family have a small dog and other family members may on occasion bring their dogs into the home. No pet care is required. The ideal nanny will concentrate solely on the new baby, establishing and maintaining sleep and feeding routines, engaging the baby in play as they grow and eventually enjoying external activities such as music classes, play groups and other age appropriate activities. The family would prefer that the baby is engaged and kept on its own schedule rather than having to follow it siblings more active program of activities. The role will be Mon-Fri and the hours can be negotiated for the right person with the minimum being 40, but if the right person wanted more hours up to around 50 hours per week this could be accommodated. Start times are flexible but 7.30/8 until 5.30/6 give any applicants a good idea of what could work. During some winter mths the family may travel and stay in Wellington FL and they would love for the nanny to join them (not essential). Father works out of the home, but Mother works either out of the home, in her home office (in another building on the property) or will be around and working alongside nanny other times. Attributes that the family are looking to find are patience, kindness, attention to detail and a willingness to share knowledge and expertise. Driver required but nanny car provided for work related duties. Start asap, salary $15-18/hr pre tax.

Family looking to find an experienced, professional, kind and nurturing nanny for their infant and school age child. A great opportunity to become an integral part of this family’s team, utilizing multiple skills in caring for a precious young infant and school age child. The role will be Mon-Fri from 8am – 4pm, mainly be caring for the infant throughout the school day while the older child attends Timonium Elementary (walk able from the family home). The successful nanny will have experience in and a strong interest in the developmental play of young infants. The family are looking to find someone who thoroughly enjoys interacting and engaging with infants, beyond meeting their basic needs. For example, they would love to find a nanny who would play music, talk and be creative in their cognitive development. During school breaks the nanny will also care for the older child. Duties will include taking care of the children’s laundry, children’s meals and any driving associated with the children. A driver with their own car is required. No Pets. Start Sept 2017, salary $15-17 per hour pre tax.

Full Time Nanny required for new born and infant. This family are looking for a Nanny who will becomes a true hands on part of their young family. The care will be shared with the children’s Mother who will be at home some of the time and returning to work towards the latter end of 2017. The Father works from home 50% of the time and therefore the successful nanny will feel at ease with other people around. The family are looking for an easy going self starter who does not need directing, a team player who will see what needs doing and get on with the role with an organized approach to their work. Duties will include caring for the new born and infant, establishing and implementing routines, family laundry, children’s meal prep, cleaning of the kitchen (including dishwasher loading, sweeping, putting groceries away) taking the children as they grow for walks, swimming and to other age appropriate activities. The first child was born prem at 23 weeks and requires some oral meds and an understanding of her developmental delays. The care therefore is essentially caring for two young babies with similar needs, despite the age difference. The family need a confident caregiver who will embrace these on-going changes. The role will be guaranteed 40 hours per week, to include an overnight 2-4 times a month (open to work with the nanny). Overtime will be compensated for accordingly. Required hours will be Monday 7-5, Tuesday7-5 , Wednesday 1-6, Thursday 1-6, Friday 8-6 and the overnights as required. There may be weeks where the nanny is only required 4 days. A degree of flexibility would be preferred and reciprocated for example some days the hours may vary. This family travel regularly to many exciting places and would love for the Nanny to travel with them. Travel and expenses would be paid for in addition to the agreed salary. Upperco are. Family looking to find an experienced, calm and nurturing nanny to care for their new born twins due mid July. This position will be full time Mon-Fri from 8am – 5pm. The nanny will be working as a Mothers Helper from the start date Aug/Sept (flexible) through to Jan 2nd when the children’s mother returns to work. The family also have a school age child who is in a year round educative program at St Pauls and so care is for the twins mainly with the exception of a snow or sick day. The role during the first 5-6 month period will be to work with the Mom establishing sound feeding and sleeping routines for the twins and engaging them in play as they grow, sharing all duties relating to the children. The successful Nanny will feel comfortable working in partnership with Mom sharing ideas and working as a team. From January 2017 the role will be sole charge. This family are looking to find someone with the experience of setting routines for new born twins, able to take an organized and structured approach to the day but maintain a soft, calm, patient and flexible manner. The role will be all child related with the exception of being willing to let the family’s 2 medium dogs into the fenced yard. No driving required. Start mid Aug/Sept, salary $15-17/hr pre tax, 2 weeks paid vacation, performance related annual bones and 3% annual pay increase.

Cockeysville area. Do you love new borns and the opportunity to travel? Busy and active family seeking Nanny/Mothers Help required for new born baby due July 2017. This role is to work both in sole charge but for a vast majority of the time with the baby’s Mother. The successful applicant will demonstrate skill, experience but also flexibility and be adaptable to the needs of the family. The hours will be guaranteed at least 35 per week. Mon 8-1, Tues 7-3, Weds 7-12, Thurs 7-3 and Fri 8-3. The family would like for the nanny to have flexibility on most Thurs and Sat nights to cover date nights Thursday Evenings – 6:30pm – 9:30pm & Saturday Evenings – 7pm – 11:00pm. The family love to travel and would love to take their nanny with them to enjoy new places and help to care for their baby whilst away. Time off will be given and a schedule will be mutually agreed. All travel expenses covered. A typical years vacations may include 6-8 long weekends in Delaware, a week in the Caribbean, a long weekend in Charleston SC and a weeks skiing in Utah. The family have some flexibility around the travel but would like consistency of care.
Your role will be child related duties, assisting Mom on errands with the baby, engaging the baby in stimulating play and activities as they grow. Duties will include children’s laundry, bottle prep and meal prep for the older child. You will be responsible for creating engaging activities and enjoying the outdoors with the children. The family are looking for the nanny to take care of all child related duties such as laundry, meals and maintaining good care routines. The nanny will be engaging with the baby and be self-motivated to create a varied program of activities for both children. The successful applicant will be a driver with their own car, a confident swimmer (family have own pool), be comfortable around larger dogs (family have a German Shepherd) and have some degree of flexibility.
